MvM pyro loadout creation

I know there are guides and stuff on the internet, but I'd prefer to interact with people to actually do this.

So how should I go around doing this? I mean, I just sorta stick some weapons together and kill stuff, but I'm looking to make a proper loadout that I can use for MvM. And yes, I do have one of the canteen thingies to use. Thanks for your help guys

Okay, against a tank, use a phlog, so you can constantly crit on it, while having a heavy or another pyro at your side, while the other 5 or 4 people are killing robots. equip ammo canteen for that.

I'd say stock flamethrower is good too. the scorch shot would be useful, cuz it can push robots away if you're away from them. Usually you could use crits-uber- or ammo canteens while this.

A good loadout would be Degreaser/Scorch Shot/Homewrecker.

Degreaser will be your main focus of upgrading, mainly it's air blast abilities and ammo capacity. It'll be your main way of close-range combat, as expected of a flamethrower.

The Scorch Shot is to damage a large chunk of enemies and light them on fire. Useful if together with the phlog to get some quick crits, but is extremely useful for spychecking aswell.

The homewrecker is a good weapon if there are Spies on the map. You can disable sappers with 1 hit and you can then just proceed to burn the robots. If there are no spies, you're feel to switch to the axtinguisher. Degreaser/Axtinguisher/Uber Canteen is a good combo aswell.

For tanks, I suggest Phlog/Scorch/Powerjack.

Phlog for taking down the tank with incredible ease, as you will be getting crits most of the time, Scorch Shot for the same reason as above, and Powerjack in case you need to get out of there fast or need a quick heal-up (in case you didn't buy Health on Kill on your Phlog).

Hope this'll help you out. I personally don't play a lot of Pyro on MvM, I prefer either Scout or Sniper. :3

3. type "+forward" and "+attack"
